Rolling Fast for Peace

Inspired by the brave, noble actions of Sean Penn and the other fine celebrities, I've decided to join in a similar way to support Cindy Sheehan. Now, I'm no star, but sure, I can do my part. They have agreed to go on a "rolling fast" along with 3,000 other activists which involves fasting for 24 hours and then passing on the fast to the next brave

I am more than willing to take the batton for the following 5 hours, after the agreed 30 break between you ending and me starting just so as I can get some of that wonderful web chef food! I better make it a filling one.

I'd like to participate in your crusade, but I dunno if I can go 5 hours without eating. Being pregnant, if I get hungry I have to eat. What a shame, huh? I actually probably haven't been eating as much as I'm supposed to. It's not that I'm trying not to get fat, but I'm not always hungry.

I still haven't completely decided on a name yet. I've kind of put that on the back burner til I found out if it's a boy or girl, which I have my sonogram on the 17th. The baby is doing well. I'm hanging in there. (I'm updating my journal in a bit, so you can read up on the latest events.)

Since the baby is connected to you, and the baby hasn't technically been eating for over 5 hours, I say you were the third brave organism to take on this great cause. Peach ice cream and pickles all around! You need to eat up. Enjoy the free license to pork up.

As much as I support your right to protest whatever you are protesting, I'm a European Jew. This fasting notion is foreign to me. But anyhoo, make sure to reward yourself with everything sweet and fattening when you're done. :)

Thank you for your much needed support. It was total hell, but I did it. I can sit on the couch and glow with pride every time I see war torn Iraq now. Due to the European Jew syndrome, I think this protest can be altered slightly to accommodate you. Walk around barefoot for at least one hour some time today and you too can watch the news with the uttermost pride. Good luck!
