I'm doing well. I was just having one of those days when I last posted. Thanks for responding with interest.
I lost a lot of writing material that I had worked on for years about a year ago. Since then, I haven't had much of an urge to write anything. That is the main reason this journal isn't seeing much action. I've noticed many more of my days are containing thoughts of regret regarding writing, so I may try to boost the motivation by starting in here again.
I'm doing great. How are you mamma? I have a sneaking suspicion I'll look and feel younger in 50 years than I do know. We will be ancient though!
How is motherhood? I haven't read anything in here lately, so I'll go over to your page and catch up a bit later. Until then, lay it on me. What are the ups and downs that you notice the most? Be honest. Don't give me any of those canned responses you learned from sickly parenting movies parroting members of sickly-lying-parents-of-the-world-united. Give it to me straight, (wo)man!
I'm hanging in there. Well, being a mom isn't easy and definitely not very glamorous, unless of course you are into getting puked, spit, peed, and on occasion, pooped on. It's really hard most days to work a shower into the mix. I need a day of beauty that's for damn sure! You work 24/7, 365 days a year with really no time for yourself. I'm guessing that I'll get a day off in about 18 years. He is *very* needy and crabby, so I don't get much done around the house, as I would like. You would think that since I am home all the time, my place would be immaculate. It's not gross, just not how I would like it; having a petting zoo doesn't help the situation either. Oh yeah, everyone says sleep when the baby sleeps. It doesn't work that way. I'm usally not tired or able to sleep when he does during the day, such as now. Luckily, he has been sleeping through the nite since he was about 6 weeks old, with only a few exceptions. Don't get me worong, I love being a mom. It could be better if Jared would help out more. He says it's

Thanks for the pics and inside on being a mommy! He is a great looking kid! I like the fact he is ready to fight. He has his fists all balled up just ready to pound someone into oblivion if he doesnt get his yum yums. You should be very proud of the little guy.
I hope you find some time for yourself. I've heard that it is overwhelming and a little bit of quiet time is the only thing that can keep a mother sane. Hopefully, someone around you, whether they are relatives or friends, will step in now and then to give you a bit of help. You sound like you are doing a great job and he definitely is a good looking boy. Enjoy every second with him and don't let him knowk your boobies off with those fists of iron he is brandishing!
Thanks. I believe I'll be posting more often with a bit more depth soon. I gave one reason for my lack of LJ action above if you are you interested. The others mainly involve time, distractions and new routines in a new land. The keywords should suffice. Nearly any sentence will do really. Take care.
We both go through this within 4 weeks of one another. The thing is that neither one of us is old, nor are we close to being old. We have the whole world and an eternity in front of us. We will stay eternally young...together.
I added you a few days ago. I haven't been checking my social networks enough lately to keep up, but I've got ya now! Thanks. I'm definitely busy and going. Hope you are doing well over there.
