In other news, after more than two years of study in the beginning class, I asked the sifu about graduating to the intermediate class as other students had graduated to that class in less time. The answer was no. I could invent stories as to why or don black clothing and go learn from evil ninjas so I can return in the 3rd act to advance the story

I just wish it were clearer. The flat no never is so unsatisfying.
