I found out which poem they're publishing in the literary magazine at the end of this year. It's called "Welcome To," a satire I wrote about our Homecoming tradition in high school. I'm am holding back SO MUCH laughter right now, and I'm covered in goosebumps as I remember that conversation... holy shit... with the proud mothers and their teary praise of their "multicultural" children... and the homecoming king and queen dressed like australian animals and hopping around the football field looking positively DELIRIOUS WITH JOY, as you and I sit in the back corner and PISS OURSELVES!!!
