Studying psychology doesn't necessarily give you the insight as to why people think and act how they do. I think a lot of people go into it hoping it will and are then disappointed. I think the best you can hope for in a field of study like that is a better understanding of yourself - through which you are better equipped to understand others. Does that make sense?
People are complex, and it's easy to hate them for it - and a lot of the time it's even easier to hate them for being simple. It's no fun being angry, but just remember we get angry because we are passionate. If you're angry, it means you care, and that's a good thing. Something beautiful can come out of it.
