Props for the Wash quote! Also, thank you for filling up the car! If you & Perin ever need a babysitter for Faye or some other favor, let me know.

Heh. Glad someone caught the Wash quote. It amused me.
And you're welcome. That's what friends are about and all. It was maybe 1/2 what it costs to fill up the Xterra...

Hrm. I'll chat with him.
Water's not a big deal as artesian's plentiful in that area. Redneck family and all, we have connections with one of the local drillers. Also have access to a bulldozer and grader.
Electric and sewage are low priority and generators and porta-privs exist for a reason. I was thinking things like a pond and trees before I'd worry about those.

Your dad continues to be one of the coolest people I know ;)

If thats the area I think it is, its not out of the question for a small wind generator. Even with artesian water, getting enough pressure to get it above ground level for a pond or irrigation is gonna need some juice. Drop a small mobile on there, or even a small prefab building and a septic tank for some plumbing. Excavating in Az is often the most expensive part of a septic system. Acces to the heavy equipment makes that a non-issue ;)

Just ramblin random ideas O.o
