Good luck :) I have no idea weither it's possible, but I do know there's a gimp tutorial community somewhere on this site, I'm pretty sure that would help more than this one...
And wow, you really do make it seem easy. I've never been this radical with selecetive colors before, only nudging them a wee bit. Cool, very cool! Thank you!!!! (And yes, you totally made sense ;)
Selective colors are a very easy and quick way of coloring I guess, but that's once you get them. Yay, I'm glad I make sense, I wasn't sure how much you knew and I haven't written a proper tutorial in ages.
I've realized I have always too timid with selective coloring so far and tried to compensate by using layers or color balance. This is so much more elegant! Thank you again ;)
You know, of course, this means I will mercilessly bug you about other neat tricks you're using, heh. Loved your coloring of Lew in the icons you posted as well ;)
No problem :) I used to love writing tutorials, so it's fun doing it again. Whenever you want a tutorial just be specific as to what I you want and I'll write it as soon as I can :D
Thanks, I really am!
Really looking forward to your next icon post :)
I also did a tutorial on cropping not too long ago, I can link you to that if you're intersted :) only problem is that half of the tips I gave doesn't apply to CKR because you have to crop him in entierly different ways than everyone else lol.
That's cool info - thanks. And easy to replicate, greatness!
Understanding-wise, I gotta admit, it goes a little over my head. Thinking about complement-colors is always something that seems to take me a lot longer than others. Color-dumb me is color dumb... Or, to put it less negative, I'm too lazy to work on it. :D
Well, the problem is, each coloring is unique and will only work on one type of images.
Somehow I can't imagine not understanding anymore, because it makes perfect sense to me, but really that's just me because this was pretty hard to learn at first and 4000 icons later it should make perfect sense, right?
