Great game today! :D Games like these is why I love football, exciting and squeeworthy. Congrats to all the Germans on my flist.

Tried the pilot of Stargate Universe today, which was not great. Watchable, but nothing special really. Hadn't heard great things about it, so I guess I wasn't expecting more. I'll keep watching, but slowly.

It took me over a year to get caught up on DW, so I know the lazy when it comes to DW feeling.
That's interesting, I loved Ten in season 2 and 3, but it wasn't before season 4 that I knew he was my doctor.
We all have different opinions, and that's part of what makes fandom so interesting, right? :D

I think both of them are pretty dark characters, and I really do prefer dark shows, dark characters. I think when TV is dark it's just better, at least when done right. Anyway, for me at least it was obvious from the pilot that Mal was a pretty dark character, but I think the movie showed us just how dark.

I enjoy discussing different views on things and yeah, it's always fun to see how differently people react to the same thing.

There are always exceptions and I tend to agree with yours :)

We don't see much of Mal's darkness, just little bits, but I just kind of assumed it was there from the pilot. Hmmm, I never really thought that Mal was snappy or unhappy because of the lack of jobs or life on Serenity. I always thought his past is what made him like that, he chose life on Serenity and I think actually that life made him more content, less unhappy. He said once that he liked it in the woods, because that was the place he could see the clearer path.
Again, different ways of seeing the same thing :)
