Author's Notes: Interesting. That's really all I can say about it.
They get drunk off of each other. There’s something deeply romantic to the fact that they feel that they could forsake food and drink and live just off each other.
He likes to remember her clearly. He’s shaky and nervous and occasionally bumbling without the aid of alcohol, but one look from her, one kiss from her lips, and somehow, he’s Clark Gable and Peter Parker combined.
She doesn’t need liquor to get a buzz. One kiss from him, one look, one touch and the rush she gets, sets her head swimming, buzzing with a natural high.
It was what happened when hormones and a sense of ever-present danger combined. Some people called it a bad idea, they called it love, and regardless of what it really was, they were addicted to it.
They were addicted to each other. They were junkies look for a fix, they needed each other, and they needed that high.
They weren’t really willing to let go. Neither of them really see the need to. Logic is beyond them when they are together.
It just becomes a series of touches, kisses, feelings, hopes, dreams, tiny deaths. She loves it and he loves it and they both sink deep, consuming, needing, drowning, getting higher and higher.
It’s a never-ending pattern. But they like it better that way. It makes it easy to stomach.
