Got home from work at 6, only to find someone had cut BOTH cables on the cable locks and stolen my bicycle. Didn't even have a SEAT on it (I kept that inside to discourage theft), and some goddamned fuckhead stole it anyway.

Well, shit. Was it insured? Suggest in the future you use a U-bolt Kryptonite lock or something (preferably a model that can't be hacked with a ballpoint pen).

I have renter's insurance. Not sure if they'll cover it since it was on the walkway just outside my apartment. I kept the cable locks and filed a police report. I don't expect to see it again, but at least I documented it. Probably won't get another. Guess I just fooled myself into thinking I'd really use it as much as I thought.

Ironic thing is, I'd wanted to ride it to work today, until I remembered a chiropracter appt this morning.
