Rough couple of months - all three of my Great-relatives have now passed away. Aunt Eileen was in August, Aunt Irene was last month and now Uncle Ed passed away this week. We need a break :( The Parental Units were here this week, and Mom just left on a plane to head back for the funeral. Daddy leaves tomorrow. I want to go too ( Read more... ) -
Distracted
So much to say, but I'm a bit distracted. I had big plans of a recap post (finally with pictures). My Mom and Aunt have been here to visit and we had tons of fun. Some of my best friends came out to visit and reminded me that I'm not all alone. I'm moving soon and we're upgrading. I get to play awesome music in band this period. Life is slowly returning to normal, at least for a few days. The 2009 In-Laws Invasion was wonderful, and from what I could tell everyone had a great time. My sis-in-law was with us for a full 2 weeks, and it was fun to spend so much time with her (we didn't get to hang out much when astinus1 and I were dating since she was either in school or had moved ( Read more... ) -
In-Laws Invasion in T-minus 2 hours!
The house is almost clean in preparation for the In-Law-Invasion of 2009! My SIL is arriving at noonish today and gets to hang out with us for a full 2 weeks, and FIL plus MIL #2 are arriving tonight for 4 days. MIL #1 is arriving on the 6th for a week. In which I abuse parentheses and dust this thing off
Time to tend to my poor neglected little blog! After running away home for 2 weeks (I'm planning a nice post on that, but I've been slow at getting pictures off my camera) I'm still trying to catch up on things around here. It's nice out and I have to work. I'm therefore thumbing my nose at the system by wearing a non-collared shirt and no socks. :) How are you all spending your day?
Update of substance coming when I'm not typing on my phone. Then I'll work my way through the 2 weeks of f-list I have :)
