How did Nadya Suleman, an unemployed single mother of six children, convince a fertility specialist to see her, let alone treat her "infertility" by implanting EIGHT eggs in her? If she's unemployed, who is footing the bill for medical care for her and her babies?

Not that I agree with her breederism, but they didn't implant eight. My understanding is they implanted six and two of them split into twins. Regardless, implanting six into an otherwise fertile woman with no visible means of income is irresponsible.

OTOH, would we be having this discussion if she had a kid a year for the next eight years?

I do hope that children's services visits her every week or so to keep an eye on things.

I bet the military is glad to know that should they need breeders, with only a handful of women they could have the next elite army... (which, of course, is just me beign cynical. lol)

There was an article about her in the local paper today. She was already on welfare when she conceived those kids and at least one of them is disabled. The hospital has already applied to MediCal to cover the hospital costs for the eight babies, for a total amount that is "undisclosed".

Estimate I saw was 1.3 mil for the care of 8 preemies.

Yeah, I said she needed shot in the head. I'm not sorry I said it either. If we're taking care of her kids anyhow. *shrug*
