I woke up with morning with a wild hair up my ass. I decided I wanted to paint. So, I talked to the husband and he said to go with it...and that I did. I went with TEAL. I only did two walls...one wall in the living room and the back splash in the kitchen. It's amazing how a coat of paint can change the entire mood of a room.

By chance are you using a Debbie Travis color? that is the color I wanted to do the living room (I think)

haha thanks Lynds!! We had fun painting...we did 2 coats and bam...our place feels totally different. I used Teal Zeal by Behr paint. Check out this link..the color on the site doesn't do it justice...it is so much prettier in person. http://www.behr.com/colorsmart4/colorsmart/main.jsp

I'll take more pix of the place after we get Erichs chair which comes in on Tuesday...oh and after I get new window treatments...I hate what we have up right now..boo.

Yep, we are renting a house, but not from a friend...just from some random leasing agency. This was our first time doing the painting ourselves...before we've had other people paint for us...so thank you!! The couch is certainly smaller then what we had before, but for such a small place it makes so much more sense and the room feels bigger and cozier. I'll take pix later of Erichs new man chair that should be delivered today..woohoo
