The purpose of celebrating your birthday is celebrating your life really,
celebrating your existence I guess.
Are you going to start going to church with me & Sydney and stop celebrating?
I'm just kidding, but on the real, it's all unecessary to begin with.
Life should be appreciated and celebrated everyday.

I love you, my next birthday is my 19th... which means I can do the same things as I can now.... so nothing.

i enjoyed reading this.
I am excited about having some talks with you in the next week when I get home. I miss having your perspective on things more often. There was a point and time that I remember clearly asking you advice on giving advice as I was pretending that I could save the world. Those were the good ol' days. hmph.
As for your birthday, I am still stok3d that you'll be 21. Regardless of the alcohol thing. It just seems like something new, another year. And we will probably go get something to eat together... even if its just some slim jims. [btw-i bet slim jims and beer would go perfectly together ;) haha]
"It took you countless years to get to who you are, realistically there is no way you are going to change that just because a number on a calendar changed." was basically my favorite line, by the way.
oh yeahh--and i feel a little like you because i am working on new years instead of getting wasted beyond belief. talk about growing up. haha.
I adore you, always. ♥
