 Watched the royal wedding this morning. Yes, I got up early. Yes, I actually cared. I don't care how bitter or cynical or how modern you think you are, an event like this is still history. One day, your grandkid will ask if you watched it because they're learning about it at school

I think the whole "hat" thing is the stiff-upper-lip British way of letting their hair down. Fergie's daughter Beatrice had a unique looking hat - almost like a wedding ring with a bow or something.

I watched the wedding too and thought it was so beautiful. I loved her dress and their kiss(es) on the balcony were so sweet.
