Eight of Swords dakotawitch December 9 2009, 04:28:58 UTC
Your card is the 8 of Swords, in which Isis lays prone, surrounded by swords. This card tells me you are feeling trapped by a situation, as if any decision you make will "cut" you. While on the surface this card may appear to indicate pain and tears, it also presents an opportunity for reflection and introspection in the midst of a tough situation. Rather than trying to find a way out of the circle of swords, this card encourages you to go within and find your center. There is a creative solution to the problem which you are not currently seeing, especially if you are getting advice from all sides. Take the time to really reflect and tune out the noise. The situation also presents an opportunity for growth or to break old patterns and establish new ones.

Two of Swords, reversed dakotawitch December 9 2009, 04:32:19 UTC
Your card is the 2 of Swords, reversed, in which Isis sits, blindfolded, holding two swords. This card usually indicates the need to go within to find a solution to a dilemma or problem. It is important to "blind" yourself in order to make a just, rational, and right decision. (ASIDE: Isis looks like Justice in this card to me.) The answer you seek lies within yourself, and you may already know what you need to do. The card showing up reversed also tells me that any truce reached right now is temporary -- issues will have to be confronted before long. If you choose an easy or temporary solution, you will have to revisit the issue again very soon, and it may be more costly (on all levels) than choosing the right, though more difficult, path.

Five of Wands dakotawitch December 9 2009, 04:37:44 UTC
Your card is the 5 of Wands, in which 5 women appear to be dancing or sparring with wands. This card tells me that you may be going through a period of intellectual conflict or debate, or may feel innundated by information. Although it may seem as though information is coming at you from all directions, you have an opportunity to view this situation not as adversarial but as a dance that will help keep you on your toes. If you are faced with people who try to bait you into an argument, do not rise to the bait. Also know that anyone who challenges your assumptions, ideas, etc. is not attacking you personally -- they are engaging in debate and intellectual exercise, and if you meet them in that spirit you will have an opportunity for intellectual expansion. This card often appears for people who are going through exams or working in scholarly or research endeavors, but intellectual conflict/debate can appear in many ares of our lives. If you go into a situation expecting conflict, there will be intellectual or ideological conflict. If, ( ... )

UserPic ... of course. I made it years ago and don't actually use it much. Enjoy! I can even see if I can find the original full size version, if you'd like.

Five of Wands ... Hmmm. There's really nothing in my life right now that that sounds like. Thanks though.

[edit] I just emailed you the original image and a few others. [/edit]

Ace of Staves/Wands dakotawitch December 11 2009, 22:43:16 UTC
Your card is the Ace of Staves/Wands, in which a single wand stands before a bright sun. This card indicates the triumph of intellectual knowledge and reason. If you are in a situation where you must use logic or reason to solve a problem or communicate an idea, your abilities will be at their height right now. This card also tells me that right now is a time when it is especially advantageous for you to approach things in a calm, logical, rational manner. You may be the one people look to right now to be "the voice of reason" -- the one who presents the facts and helps defuse tense emotions. If this is difficult for you at times, right now will be a time when this comes more easily to you. Remember to keep a cool head!

I meant to get on touch before, as I just wanted to say - Thank You for this. I read this just after hearing about a situation I would have to deal with that usually I would have dealt with rather angrily. Instead, it gave me the extra push to stay calm and reasonable, and I ended up with a very positive result.
So thank you - very much appreciated.

Nine of Cups dakotawitch December 11 2009, 22:46:04 UTC
Your card is the Nine of Cups, which is sometims called The Wish Card. A woman sits with a goblet in one hand, eight goblets before her, and a rainbow in the sky. This card tells me that you are at the end of, or near the culmination of, an emotional journey. Whatever your dearest wish in the emotional or creative plane will be granted in the near future. You are entering a phase of intense creative and emotional growth, and romantic passion may also peak or go to a new level during this time. In a sense, the storm has finally passed and the rainbow promises new beginnings.
