My first impression was to the effect of Xiahou Dun - in the games, he's a hardass with a temper that will be tamed for none other than his lord; in the novel, he's referred to as righteous, yet violent. The vanity (though this draws mostly from the novel, wherein Xiahou Dun's overconfidence in his own abilities led to him being pwned by Zhuge Liang), outspokenness, bluntness, and your either/or fields tend to remind me most of him, though the optimism is more reminiscent of his brother, Xiahou Yuan. If I were drawing predominantly from the novel instead of the games, I would name you as Xiahou Yuan - Yuan is said to be 'stern and inflexible' in the novel, and the weaknesses you mentioned were, in large part, what led to his death at the hands of Huang Zhong. However, in the games, Xiahou Yuan seems extremely laid back (on a personal level, at least); his brother is the one who seems to have all your problems, though Xiahou Dun is overall more temperamental than you come off.
