Is this the blind american pride post? I don't usually comment on stuff like this but come on... I do agree it is good that we captured him, but come on... "if you aren't born here you dont deserve to live here?" So none of our ancestors should have the rights we have come to take for granted today? Aristotle is dead. What do we have to be proud of. How tough we are? how ignorant we are as a society? My God is very much alive unlike many of the outdated ideas of normal people that were no different then you or i. loving others is much harder then hating everything that is different. i guess i live for the challenge, while others take the easy way out.

but aristotle actually existed as opposed to the theory of god.. there is no proof whatsoever of a god. where do people get anything they ever believe about god from?? the bible.. who was the bible written by? the hand of man who were no different than you or i.. kind of a contradiction.

everything we see as ethically right or wrong comes from the ideals of aristotle. the actual idea of ignorance of society comes from aristotle. his book of nicomachian ethics predates any mono-theistic religion, especially christianity.. makes you wonder where whoever wrote the bible got thier ideas from huh? <33

when i read this originally, i overlooked the part where matt said that if you werent born here, you shouldnt have rights. thats the part i do disagree with. if you come here in the manner it should be done, then you should be given rights. if rights were denied to all immigrants, none of our ancestors would have had rights. i am glad that illegal aliens cant receive licenses, but i think legal immigrants should be able to get them.
