Kinda surprised no one on my flist has posted this, but a pretty awesome fanmade CG movie just came out. Not sure if people remember Haloid or Dead Fantasy I, but he's at it again with Dead Fantasy III loved the former two and was impressed, but it looks like he's taken it to another level. It's pretty amazing and if I wasn't in lab, I'd watch it

Actually given what I heard about that person losing their award to a 'fake' at AB...I'll be honest, I wondered if that forum post was just someone pretending to be him. It's not unheard of imo.

That didnt actually happen. Somebody had messaged her on YouTube saying that it had happened, but it didn't. The AB contest coordinator still has the award.

Ah, good. When I read that on the forums, I was like >:O. I mean I guess I wouldn't be surprised if someone was that big of a jackass, but still.

Anyway, I guess I was surprised seeing Monty posting on the ACen boards since anime cons and this type of fanmade animation seem, at best, tangentially related. It'd still be cool if he is going to these cons though to be honest.
