Mario Kart Character Bonus Stats - as in how much of a particular statistic they improve

They improve how? Do they have different base stats as well?

They modify the stats of the various karts ever so slightly. I don't think it's enough to make a big difference in anything other than time trials, personally.

As in Baby Daisy gets a +2 in overall speed. As Ian says it's probably not a HUGE difference, but again I imagine some of the folks here would still like to know.

Unfortunately my favorite character isn't really all that good T_T.

Dude,

All the fastest times online are with Donkey Kong or some other fat-ass, who I've avoided like the pleague forever.

So I've set myself to learning how to play with the fat-asses. And you know what, my times improved after the initial "this character steers like a drunken cow" learning curve.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to getting better with some other types of characters, but I think I'll most likely stick with toad for a while in general racing until I get good enough w/ the fat-asses to steer and shoot well at the same time.

Not true, all the time trial winners use Funky Kong, mostly on Bowser's Bike. He has the biggest speed boost of the large characters and the large karts have the biggest top speeds (just terrible acceleration which you dont need in speed trials when you get the starting boost).

No. Only fags *willingly* chose Toad in original Mario Kart. Everyone I knew went straight for Koopa Troopa and the loser took Toad.
