I don't believe I ever stated anywhere that I thought the prequels, as a whole, were good. If I thought so, I'd have no reason to team up with Lauren and Liz to completely rewrite them. On the other hand, I thought RotS was a vast improvement from the first two, and quite good in its own right.
As for an in-depth criticism, it actually would've turned into a rant about how they destroyed the story. Oh, the characterizations were pretty good, but there's simply too much story to cram into a two-hour movie. I'm a fan of the BBC approach- six fifty-minute episodes, totaling five hours of Pride and Prejudice awesomeness.
Oh, one character they did destroy was Lady Catherine. That was unnecessary. I'm such a huge fan of the catfight scene between her and Lizzie, it utterly cheapened it to turn it into a "front" so that Mr. Darcy could see if Lizzie was still interested.
And a minor gripe, the costumes were all wrong for the period.

Well, maybe, but then again, you thought the stars wars prequels were really good, right? There is no accounting for taste.
I wish you'd posted more in-depth criticism, because they probably did ruin it but good.
