Donna: I'm not coming with you. I've been thinking. I'm sorry... I'm going home.
Doctor: Really?
Donna: I've got to.
Doctor: Well, if that's what you want. I mean, it's a bit soon. I had so many places I wanted to take you. The Fifteenth Broken Moon of the Medusa Cascade, the lightening skies of Cotter Palluni's World, the diamond coral reefs of ( Read more... )

You know what I wouldn't mind seeing? Another trip for Ten to New New York. He's taken Rose and Martha, and there is so much potential for things to happen there that I really wouldn't mind one bit seeing him and Donna stroll back onto that planet. We've only really seen the hospital, the underground traffic and the out-of-use senate building anyway. There's got to be a ton of stuff that could be done in NNY. OH the possibilities...

Pirates!

Galleons and buried treasure on exotic tiny islands and RUM and booty and walking the plank, and ahoy matey, the whole deal :) Maybe some prisoners stowed below deck for them to liberate.

I think some lovely pirate action could translate nicely to some alien planet, and Donna could be all excited, and the Doctor could be tripping over himself to protect her from men who haven't seen a woman in months!

Roswell New Mexico-

In doing a tad bit of research for a story I am writing I found that they have an alien festival over the fourth of July weekend in Roswell, NM

My thought was Donna wanted to see the crash or the grays but oops instead of 1947 they landed in like 2007. In the midst of the alien festival, they stay but find out that not all the costumed attendees are just humans dressed up. (I don’t know why but my first thought was the Slivanine(?)) but it really wouldn’t matter. I really have no idea either as to what they (aliens) would be up to, and in the end it could be nothing more than they came here to join the party.

What could only add to the brilliance is that out of the dozens of theories, he stops. Donna glances back over her shoulder to see he's intently studying one of the plaques of information by a fanciful exhibit seemingly done up with foil. "What is it?"

"I think," he says, squinting further behind his glasses, then turning to look at her with a hint of his infectious smile beginning to bloom on his face, "I think they got this one right."

Any chance you'll be writing that whole fic? It sounds a bit brilliant. =)
