I remember being so mad when I first read this. It seemed so short and cut at such a weird place! I mean, we haven't even found Donna yet? But then I remembered that it's so typical. We have no idea where anyone is, much about the aliens, or anything.

You did a pretty good job building up the questions that we'll expect to be addressed -- what's the transmission pulse, what did the Dellians do, WHERE ARE DONNA AND WILF, etc. I'm excited to see what happens next.

My main issue is one that I avoided in my own piece so it's probably just preference -- there seemed to be a lot of introspection. We don't get to see the characters' thoughts when we're watching the show, we just rely on dialogue and settings. So all the thoughts you used to get us up to speed really threw me off, but once I got past that I was able to enjoy the story.
