Anyone else heard of this Samurai Champloo?

Apparently this is a very popular new anime series in Japan. I just saw the first episode and I don't want to blasphemes or anything, but I have a feeling this series may be as good if not better than Cowboy Bebop. The animation is awesome and the story is actually drama/humor based like Cowboy Bebop. What's funny is that the American voice

I'm sure I'm not the only one that despised the CB dubs, and the voice for Spike was probably the main reason for this. It didn't fit in the slightest, and it wasn't the voice actors natural voice, so it sounded strained and stupid, really. Let me guess, they used him as the voice for Jin (that would be perfectly absurd). I watched an interview with the guy, and his normal voice would have been much closer to the mark in impersonating Spike Spiegel.

That said, Samurai Champloo is pretty good. It's no Cowboy Bebop, however.

agreed. same derektor and lots same crew which is the reason behind the quality. it's got enough style to actually be worthy of buying.
