One day, the warden decided to play a game with her prisoners. She selected three of them-- let's call them Euphemia, Nanashi, and Sho-- and had them blindfolded and taken to her office, where she placed a hat on each of them and explained to them the rules ( Read more... )

Assumption: none of the other digits in this are colorblind or stupid

i = green • Nanashi = green ⇒ Euphemia knows
i = green • Nanashi = red ⇒ Nanashi knows
∴ i != green

Sho's hat is red, zetta obviously. Congrats, Warden, you have qualifications to proctor tests in the first grade.

I believe that Sho would be wearing one of the green hats. Had both Nanashi and Euphemia been wearing red and Sho green, then Euphemia would have only known for certain that there was one red and one green hat. Sho also would not have been aware, as this person could only observe the green hat. However, if both of the red hats along with a green had been used in the problem, then the green could only have gone to show. Otherwise, this Euphemia would have known which hat she wore.

Nanashi probably saw red on Sho, givin' them a 50/50 chance at having either hat 'cause of this, I'd say Sho has a red hat. Nanashi a green hat, and who the fuck cares about Euphemia
