Wow that is such a great article. I think if a lot of aspiring guitar players applied the stuff that the article says they would become great players. Great find!

and it also shows how much i have yet to learn. scales are the next step for me. hooray

you have posted a deep, deep question. I'm not going to dive into the Music Theory swimming pool like you are just yet - i'm content with knowing D and C and G sound good together :)
