Series 5 episode poll!

So it's Wednesday which means we should be on A Christmas Carol, but the TPO/TBB post was so late (...er...) that I'm just going to do the s5 poll instead and Christmas Carol I'll put up later this week. I tagged Christmas Carol into the poll already though because it does not fit elsewhere.

The Lodger is probably my second place, but my love for Amy's Choice edges it out just a bit.

My money is on Vincent and the Doctor though, lol.

I like it, but it's probably only #4 or so for me, if that. Amy's Choice, the Lodger, and The Eleventh Hour probably edge it out. I think for me it's just that so much of it is about Vincent and... I don't really care, lol. I think it is a well-done episode but not my favourite for reasons an episode like Blink isn't my favourite of its season.

I thought Vincent and the Doctor was excellent. It broke my heart but was so beautiful and creative. The Doctor really doesn't see the things Vincent saw and his understanding and care for Amy was wrenching.

But the moment when Rory and Amy reunited has to be my favorite moment of season five. The boy who waited. Sniff.

I love Vincent&the Doctor & the Beast Below but The Christmas special was too good. Love it.

I liked Christmas Carol until I thought too hard about it. I missed the Ponds the whole time, though. Needed moar Amy and Rory.

Ya know, I think the Eleventh Hour is great and all ... but ... but ... but: I just can't enjoy it. He's dressed as Ten for so much of it in those torn clothes, and I just end up mourning Ten instead of f o c u s i n g lol.

I liked Eleventh Hour a lot, it is probably my third favourite or so. I know a lot of people didn't like him running around in Ten's clothes but I think it helped me ~connect to him, if he had been in tweed from the start I would've just been like WHO IS THIS IMPOSTOR.

See, now you're talking to someone who bought her husband an exact replica of the swirly tie for Christmas and made him wear it to his office Christmas party. I just ... it's Ten's ... I have a mental block of any other Doctor wearing it lol XD

Lol, shallow me, I'm more like, "He was much hotter in Ten's clothes"....O_o

I like TEH more also because Young!Amy is so much more adorable and likeable than adult!Amy IMO, and there's more of the former than the latter in this epp...
