End of Series 1 Polls!

Last time we did a rewatch, we would do polls at the end to see what everyone's favorite episodes were and since it was a lot of fun we decided to do it again

I like that you say "favorite" episodes instead of "best". "Best" tends to cause flame wars and is meaningless anyway because everyone has different tastes and priorities.

I for one will not tell anyone their opinions are wrong, for that reason. If someone else chose Dalek as their favorite while I chose TEC/TDD, more power to them.

I think last year I voted for "Father's Day" in the cage match, but this year I voted for Bad Wolf/Parting of the Ways. Interesting. I WAS JUST SO DAZZLED BY THE S1 FINALE THIS TIME.

Father's Day is great too so I could accept it as a victor. However I won't hide the fact that I'm always a bitter Betty over TEC/TDD dominating these polls.

This time as I rewatched I was just struck by how OOC Rose was in that scene on top of the space ship with Jack. Like, she was all ~starry eyed~ and not paying attention because she was so swept off her feet or whatever and like... that was just not how she'd been written at all prior to that episode.

Father's Day is forever and always my favorite series 1 episode.

I love Bad Wolf/The Parting of the Ways too, but... yeah. #TEAM FATHER'S DAY.

On the ticky box poll, I also voted for Dalek and the End of the World. I can't justify my affection for The End of the World, but I really love it a lot. And then Dalek has a special place in my heart because it was the first episode I saw and I think Eccles does some of his best acting in it.

I voted for The Unquiet Dead because it was the first episode of the show as a whole that I enjoyed and I also voted for Dalek because I remember liking that one.
