No I didn't talk to this person because I was way too scared. I think the fact that it was like 4 am had something to do with it.

Bummer that it wasn't you, whoever I have connected (still), continues to be really confused by the whole thing. I've been "salmoned" several times, so I'm not confused, but the word replacement stuff does sometimes get me. Like, for instance, they were replacing the word "name" with the word "shoe" and the phrase "live journal" with "wheel of fortune".

I keep waiting to talk to someone cool when I get salmoned!

Not sure exactly what happened myself, BUT I did TALK to the IM... and found out it was randomly connected and I think meant to start such a flame war as has been copied here :-) Each thinking the other sent it :-P Now I wished I had asked the girl on the other end of mine what her links were, cuz after I read this and other comments/posts I realised we were in word substitutions and that was why I wasn't making sense to her either.
