A crowning acheivement with just the right ending. I can't even begin to describe the awesome. I think the three dimensional chess stuff was the best. Law of conservation of detail and all that. :3 Good job! You rock!

You. You saved Gallifrey. With chess.

And Jenny and Donna get to see the universe in their own TARDIS.

And the Doctor and the Master run away together.

And everything WORKS.

And if Moffat doesn't read this and immediately hire you as a writer for the REAL season 5, I will be both surprised and disappointed (though I have been known to be ridiculously optimistic at times).

I now officially dub this epic piece of fiction my personal canon for Doctor Who S5, unless Moffat manages to exceed my expectations (which is possible, but unlikely).

Thank you for writing this. Just. I can't even tell you.

I'm in South Korea, I'm busy filling out late application forms and trying to memorize Korean verb conjugation patterns, and you have filled the past thirteen days of all of that with squee. Wonderful, shiny, snarky, squee. I love the ending of this, I love how you re-introduced Donna, Jenny, and the Master, and once more, I utterly loved the ending; the image of the four of them running, and of Donna being able to repair her Tardis and calling her Jenny's aunt, which then makes me wonder how Jenny views the Master- Dad's boyfriend? Uncle Master?
Thank you for your AU's!

Oh, that was brilliant! I have this enormous grin on my face, from that chess game and the intricate timelines and how the Master knew he had to make the Doctor do it and saving Gallifrey, of all things! And Romana, and Jenny, and Donna, all of them being fantastic in this whole story. And all of the excellent writing -- so many good lines, definitely including the last two! Ah, what a beauty this story is, has been, whatever. I am so glad that I discovered this just as the first chapters were being posted, because it feels so much more real when you have to wait for an update and it never fails to satisfy. I'm pretty sure that I'll be sad about this ending soon, but I'm just too gleeful right now. hehe. It's the best ending ever, with the Council being grave and Donna fixing her TARDIS, and everyone gets to travel in the end, back to the way things were, except much, much better. This is wonderful. I almost want the fifth season of Doctor Who to come out already so that you can fix it. Such a great job, I don't have the words! Except ( ... )
