no, that's not how the conversation went. i qouted the bumpersticker, i was sober, you were drunk, believe me that's what i said. i'm not interested in battling on political issues. however, abortion will not be outlawed. the house/senate would never vote that through. partial birth abortions are on a whole different plane and should be outlawed however. and, i dont agree with all of bush's platforms. including his views on abortion, i'm pro-choice. also, i do love the woods. and I hate to see them cut down, hence, i'm not a huge fan of parts of his enviornmental policies. gay marriage? i back him. marriage should be considered a sacred act between a man and a woman. should gay couples not have the same RIGHTS as married couples? yes, they should. and i understand that civil unions do not have the same rights as marriage. THAT is where i think the change should be made, not in the definition of marriage. overall, i support bush though, and believe that kerry is not president material. oh, the nation is frequently " ( ... )

Just a little jab of information that you may not have known about Bush politics since I don't really know you. A lot of financial analyst feel that a major reason for the Invasion of Iraq was Saddam's plan of switching trade from USD to Euros, which would have decreased the then weak dollar even further. Yet his policies of borrowing from the world bank is also resulting in a weak dollar. So this budget issue truly is his fault in that sense. True not all those who support Kerry are informed of this and not all who back Bush know about the Euro conversion but there are some out there such as myself who are educated Kerry supporters. Until recently I was undecided so don't go thinking this is the statements of an anti-Bush voter, I can see his points too, just not with medicare, foreign policy, and the idea that creating jobs that pay people less than their old ones is an improvement when GDP says otherwise.
