Going to northern Cal for the next three days. Should be interesting. Will definitely miss constant internet connection. Oh well, I can survive.

Just finished HBP. Wow. I liked it a lot, though parts of it sounded suspiciously like fanfiction. In fact, I *know* I've read some fanfics with exactly the same plotline as HBP, even if the parallel is only for half a chapter. But still... *wonders if JKR had been following fandom*

So the new Harry Potter book is coming out in a couple of days. I'm excited but part of me don't know if it'll be a disappointment. I mean I'm not even motivated to read much lately, so what if I don't feel like reading once I get my hand on a copy? That won't be no fault of JKR ( Read more... )
