actually, if you can tell me how to make it friends-only, that would be helpful. last time i had a lj like that was about 3 years ago, so i don't really remember how to do it now. :D

As far as making it friends only, I think thats a user defined attribute. The poster has to do it. :|

I don't see the point of making it a friends-only journal. People who wanan lurk and incriminate can just join and they can read it. What you want to do with this community isn't a 100% sure-fire method to keep away people who you don't want.

The only thing I can recommend is that you have similar rules to the ones I have in chemicalwhores. That's about the only safe thing you can do.

what the...? it's not already closed?! anyhow...

dxm's scheduling/crack down/whatever, if and when that happens, isn't going to be influenced one way or the other by a LJ community IMO...

i've only noticed the attention the drug's been getting in the form of exponentially dumber generations of kids taking it (among other things) to "get high" or whatever... seems to be a cultural problem more than anything (meaning it's really not 'in our hands')... yep yep...
