Die sighed trying to take off his shoes and jacket while still talking on his cellphone to his band leader discussing some things about the upcoming tour, before Kaoru let them go for their little Christmas break he had asked the other guitarist to stay behind in favor of finishing up a few things with him, mostly it was just Kaoru being his workaholic self and if the younger male hadn’t stayed behind he would have probably worked until dawn but it had took longer than even he had imagined. He sighed running his free hand through his dark hair trying not to get frustrated with the male he was still speaking to about the issues they talked about only a half hour ago, after Die got too annoyed and forced him to go home.
“Yes Kaoru I know.. It will be fine I’m sure Inoue-san can work it out you don’t need to fret about it you are going to get gray hair.. Just go home ask Kyo If he will be your Christmas present this year” He sighed shaking his head clicking the phone shut when the embarrassed band leader started to argue, his little crush apparently still a ‘secret.’
He stepped into the hallway pouting when he didn’t get his welcome home looking into the living room, smiling sweetly at the sight that greeted him. Shinya asleep under the kotatsu, two mugs near him the one nearest him was completely empty while the other was full of, now cold, cocoa .
Die picked him up gently laying him in bed covering him in blankets going back to the living room taking the cups to the kitchen and putting them in the sink going back to the bedroom where his lover was still sleeping throwing off the rest of his clothes and slipping next to him taking the box from the nightstand looking over at his lover and back to the box being so absorbed thinking about the little ring inside that he didn’t notice when Shinya awoke rubbing his eyes
“What is that?” He asked his lover his sweet voice startling the black haired male half to death, he recovered with a sweet smile slipping the box into the drummer’s hands.
“Its just a present. Ill let you open it early since you have been such a good boy.” He grinned cheekily over to him leaning in to kiss his lips “Merry Christmas baby”
