We may have found a wedding venue, hurrah! It's called Channels Golf Club. I will have to show it to Si on Friday but the room hire is reasonable (even better on a Thursday), the food prices good and the barn and outdoors settings are lovely.

I love it; it looks perfect; love the exposed beams and the lightning!!..very warm and cozy but not claustrophobic!!

I really like it! I can see you and Si getting married there. It seems like you would have a cozy and intimate weddding there. I can't stand weddings where it's just so large and there are so many people there that you might as well be getting married in an auditorium. It also helps that it's within your budget. I'm sure that whatever you two decide on will be perfect.
