I've lost 4 1/2 lbs on Weight Watchers this week! Awesome...

And I still scoffed some fried chicken on Tuesday... I'm liking this.

Dude... I'm 2 days short of my first week, but I'm down 4 pounds, too! And I've managed to treat myself to my weekly Ethiopian lunch, microwave popcorn, lamb curry, chocolate pudding and a few nights out drinking red wine.

Yay!

Excellent! This is good :) I had fried chicken, brownie desserts, wine and this unbelieveably tasty ice cream called Skinny Cow - I don't know how they do it but it's totally creamy with real vanilla pods and they do mint choc chip too!

I'm on a recipe kick... trying this tonight:

using chicken instead of kielbasa.

are you exercising at all, upping the walks etc? I did some damage to my back but I'm back in full force, dancing in my little home office and walking to Sainsbury's to get more WW desserts ;)

To be honest, I haven't gotten to the activity part yet... between being at work all day, and it being nigh 40C again this week, and then having freelance projects sucking up my evenings, I've just not had the time. That said, I know I need to get to it -- I don't just want to lose weight, I want to get fit, too. However, that may have to be more of a phase-two kind of thing. I'm sure once the rate of loss slows, I'll feel more motivated to get moving, though ( ... )

Cool - I think you're right...I was going to work on my abs, tone my body and stuff, but for now I think that aerobic exercise like dancing and walking will help the weight loss, up my energy and keep me body-conscious. Once I see a real change in my shape then I'll be motivated to tone it and keep it that way. The process should be as easy and fitted around your lifestyle as possible - not the other way around. When I was at my skinniest/best habituated I walked every day at lunch for 15 mins, ate little carbs or cheese during the week, but pigged out on a full chinese buffet every Friday. And it didn't make a difference. I wonder how that happened!

I get weighed again on Monday night(usually Mons but went to Weds instead this week) so I hope I've lost another 1lb or something over the weekend, that would be nice. We get Silver 7's when we've lost 1/2 stone or 7lbs. It would be cool if I got one on Monday!
