[Personality]
Unfortunately for Cielo, his personality wasn't something that he was able to completely develop on his own, at least not at first. He was initially created as a digital 'imaginary friend' of a young girl named Sera. She had built a small virtual beach world and included the people she was closest to in the real world, only she designed them to be as she saw them, not actually who they were. Cielo had been modeled after another child psychic that had been apart of the same experiments she was being put through. A young boy from the Carribiean, he was someone she'd always known to try and cheer her up through the hard times, so that's who she created him to be. A playful joker.

Little is known about the real Cielo, just that the experiments had eventually driven him insane and he'd finally died from it.   Cielo of the Junkyard inherited his cheerful nature, but has no real memory of his other self beyond a few broken memories Sera given him. Nor does he have much understanding of what it means to be human, it comes in bits and pieces sometimes, though nothing concrete and it usually ends up making him more confused. He understood 'cat' when he saw one, but he realized later that he shouldn't have known what it was because it was the first cat he ever saw. Vocabulary is a very sporadic thing, sometimes the word may be there but not it's definition, or vice versa, especially when it comes to trying to figure out emotion

Like all the characters at the beginning of the game, Cielo was little more then a programmed killing machine. An excellent scout and can execute missions perfectly, but he doesn't have much of a strategic or tactical mind. A trait of which his tribe mate, Gale, would on occasion point out.

After the Solids' attack the Embryon's main base and Cielo was defeated, his true emotions finally awaken. Cielo becomes a cool, easy going and friendly person who always does his best to lighten the moods of his more aggressive comrades. Even when he's misunderstood by his friends, Cielo does is best to remain positive, though he can be comparatively emotional when he actually gets upset.

He never voiced a positive or negative opinion on how he feels about needing to devour other people to survive, he just accepted it and moved on because fighting it would get him nowhere fast. Not that he'd eat anyone he came across, he's actually rather protective of those weaker than him who cant protect themselves. Enemies though, or at least those that actually pose a viable threat he shows no remorse about devouring. He's a soldier, killing is literally all he's ever known, but he tries hard to do the right thing.

Cielo always wears his heart on his sleeve, never guarding what he feels. When he's happy he laughs, when he's sad he cries, though there are times when he doesn't know or understand how to react to what he's feeling. When he thought his Leader had died, the mix of emotions was so overpowering he actually started banging his head against the side of a tank for lack of a better reaction. He snapped out of it rather quickly though, able to push past it all to complete their mission. He knows there are things more important than clinging to that negativity.

He's the type who wants to make everyone around him happy. Especially Sera, who had saved his life with her song when Gale lost control of his demon. He's also rather protective of his comrades, and cant stand it if he sees people taking their own friendships for granted. If there's ever a time where he feels that he's done something wrong, the first thing he does is try to make up for it in anyway he can think of.  He also takes other people's opinions of himself to heart, especially his tribemates. Before Gale gained is emotions, there were times where he would comment on his intelligence or effectiveness as a soldier. To the point where he later exclaims "You know I ain't dat smart!" when faced with a question that none of them were able to answer, despite the fact that he's just as intelligent and capable as the rest of them.

When it comes to his tribe mates, Cielo is extremely attached, and extremely loyal. He would -and has- given up his life for them without fear or complaint. They are all he has, all he's ever known, and he considers them his brothers and sisters. Out of all of them, he seems the most naive, but his curiosity and ability to work through issues and confusions on his own help keep him from floundering. God wanted to put an end to humanity because it had become so corrupted it practically destroyed everything it touched, and he understood and even agreed with that logic. But he'd also seen how they were struggling to survive, the same way he and his comrades had, only they were so much weaker. If he had a right to survive, than they deserved a chance too, so he fought along side them to oppose God's will.

Yet, there are times when he shows a deep rooted wisdom akin to the hindu god that is reflective of his soul. He grew so angry at Earth, who had devoured his friends to become stronger. Instead of killing him, he told him to live and remember his comrades, to learn from what he's done. "Gotta bear your own burden. Your karma."

Despite being a cannibalistic demon killing machine, Cielo deep down is a very good person. A kind and playful and sometimes painfully naive person. He accepts trouble as an inevitable part of life, and when it comes, looks it square in the eye and says, 'I am better then you.

☓ Abilities: • Devouring: Cielo needs to devour an inordinate amount of meat to survive. He's a hunter, and has only ever cannibalized other creatures like himself, and will not devour innocent people. >

• Regurgitation: The asura also have no gag reflex, and can regurgitate indigestible items and other useful things they happen to be storing in their stomachs at any given time. >

• Stronger/faster/better/more: His human form isn't strong enough to lift a car and throw it, but he can toss around large, grown men with no effort at all. He can also run fast enough to blur and trail. >

• Super Soldier: He is proficient in both hand to hand combat and firearms. His weapon of choice outside of his demon form being a submachine gun. >

• Asura: He is the avatar of the hindu god of they sky and storms, Dyausa Pita. As Dyaus, he's a good half his height taller with an increase in body mass and strength. His natural element when it comes to magic is lightning. They’ve also been shown to be able to transform just parts of their body -like just a hand- at will. >

• Extra-Sense: In either form, they were able to sense the presence of others around them even if they couldn't see them, more powerful ones they could feel from further away. They were also able to sense that someone had recently been in an area and had since left. >

• Mantras: Their abilities are learned by downloading mantras directly. Mantras can be anything from a physical ability to a magic spell, even natural defenses. Only as Dyaus does he have access to all his abilities. >

• Berserk: Due to the corrupted sun, something called 'Solar Noise' would interfere with their ability to control their transformation, they'd get stuck in a partial form (though it was shown that they could do this consciously as well), leaving them with no access to their magic. They're insanely strong physically, but loose a great deal of defense and accuracy. >

• Plug: They have a port in the back of their necks that he can plug in to certain devices. You see Argilla and Serph do it with a telescopic eyepiece, and Cielo had somehow managed to program a plane without ever seeing one before. >

• Digital Devil Saga "Cutscene Retardation Syndrome": Despite the fact that DDS is a game about gods fighting gods who all have immense power and abilities, they always seem to conveniently forget that they have them in lieu of plot progression. -It counts dammit.
