I'm developing a new general anesthetic. It's supposed to mix well with alcohol, is meant to be ingested, and be completely harmless. Currently, I have some ideas as to what its chemical composition will be [which, of course, will not be divulged here]. I am also assuming that all types of alcoholic drinks [sake, wine, rum, etc] have similar chemical makeup -- similar enough to make little or no difference in the overall effect of the anesthetic. So, I am in the process of creating several different chemical compounds at once, and am planning to test out all of them at once in one condensed experiment. Brilliant, huh?

The only problem is that my current live test subjects are probably not able to handle alcohol, most especially not in the amounts I will have to administer. Besides, I need subjects who aren't as worn out as they happen to be. And can willingly ingest large amounts of alcohol. What to do, what to do...

Nemu gave me the script to The Phantom of the Opera today. I have no idea what she was thinking [does she think I actually read stuff like that?], but I'm really liking this Phantom fellow. He's the genius-type.

[[OOC: Foreshadowing? Figure it out yourself.]]
