im leaving for new york city in about 7 hours. i was supposed to be in bed hours ago, but im so excited i cant sleep!!! i hope i get to do all the things i want to do in the three days that we are there.

i dropped ellie off at the sitters house, and i felt awful leaving her. i actually cried when i got in my car.
