this weekend was great. friday night dan and i watched all the indie portlanders swarm around burnside and watched "love liza", which was really sweet. a great movie. saturday, the radio station put on a big concert with the planet the, the fallouts, the thermals, and mount sims. matt's new stuff is really awesome- darker, more joy division/new

I hope i will be...are you saying you dig the new secret machines? i will listen to it again, but it honestly didn't sound anything like the same band...i'd only heard three of their earlier songs, of course. PS- if you are commenting on the line up of the concert, i didn't put it together or choose the bands. i can still hear fairly well.
