Today I actually worked on my EE. I started at 9:15 or so with about 1,500 words. I've now ended up with 2,307 words to be exact. I am only 693 words away from my minimum and I still have an entire third of the essay to do. This is great. I feel so productive right now. -
Don't like your job? Get used to it.
Today I told my parents that I'd like to quit my job and look for a new one. Apparently this is not an option. They claim that working a job I don't like will "teach" me something. And they're right. It will most likely teach me how to hate a job and find subtle ways to get myself fired. Since I can't quit, I'll just make them fire me. See? I win ( Read more... ) -

Ever done the "right" thing once and regretted it? Well, maybe the "right" thing isn't the best way to describe it; perhaps the "responsible" thing is a better choice of words. Today I got bored enough that I decided to see American Psycho once again. While at Steve's T.V. I saw that right next to the DVD was another one titled "American Psycho 2", now I know that Bret Easton Ellis never wrote a sequel to the novel American Psycho. I realized today that I can never not do anything. I always need to being doing something, accomplishing some new task or mastering some new skill. If I'm not I can get rather depressed, grumpy, and just generally melancholy. I am, at this very moment, in hiding. My grandmother's 70th birthday is today, and we threw her a grand ol' party and invited the folks. Namely my mother's siblings, their kids, their kids' kids, godmother, godmother's son, and godmother's son's daughter.
