Today it was 50 DEGREES.  In Chicago, in January.  Warm weather makes everything better... rather like peppermint patties.

One of my friends has a 5.1 GPA and she thinks it's "not bad".  It makes me sad, how much pressure she puts on herself.  How can that be anything but "fantastic"?

It's been in the 60's and 70's down here, which totally sucks. I wish we had it in the 50's!! This time last year, we had ice on our cars... the weather's completely out of control.

The highest GPA you can get over here is a 5.0, IF you take honors. Otherwise, you can only get a 4.0, and anywhere in between is considered excellent. A 5.1... I don't know how that's achieved, but really, that's amazing!

That GPA's not counting whatever grade she gets on the final exams, and I don't even know if they count anything higher than a 5.0 ... But 4.0's really good anyway...

Weather is truly insane.
