Alternative Parenting: Pro choice but I believe children need both a male and female influence in their life. (not necessary in the role of a full time parent)

Ask a thought provoking question: Why do we mask our hurt with anger?
Now answer it: Maybe because we associate sadness/tears with weakness in other people, so when it comes to ourselves we hide those things away for fear of appearing weak to other people. If we were all just straight forward and honest about how we feel I think life would be so much easier… but for some reason we think honesty will complicate things. I disagree.
Finally, why do you belong here? Because I want to be involved in discussions about topics that I’m interested in and that effect me with other “cultured dykes” like myself =)
