Finian has asked my mother for her hand in marriage and she has given him a favourable reply.

This is rather wonderous news, but Deirdre...I do believe it best I stay with you tonight. I fear I may have to hear terrible noises of exertion if I do not. And while I am a brave knight, no one should have to suffer those noises.
