What is up these journals? They are hitting some people and giving others a pat on the back. This place is going to hell.

At least friends are able to visit before we go back to school.

I don't know what it's all about, but while it's odd, it isn't all too bad, what with it patting you when you say something positive.

I don't think we'll ever figure out what causes most of this, but it could be worse. At least they aren't flying around like bats.

That's true - it's only the odd punch and paper-cut, or pat. If they were truly flying about, that would be a definite nightmare.

As for what causes this... all I can think of is the castle, honestly. I don't know why, but with everything odd that goes on around there, you'd think there's some sort of connection.

Which is odd enough in itself. Though if they were flying it would be a lot harder to hide. My family has pretty much stopped wondering about some of the things that happen.

The castle is about it, but in this case we aren't near the castle so that makes it more confusing. I think I've heard some of the students who've transferred say that this never happened at the other schools.
