the company website will give directions on how to get into safe mode, i'm pretty certain. that's how i figured it out when i had to do that for my toshiba.
what antivirus were you running before? that may explain why....the umass ethernet is like sitting in a stream of herpes and you're screwed if you don't have protection.
I like that- a stream of herpes! I took my xp into the shop. I was running sophos before- i think it's like the umass general anti-viral program but bridgewater state college style.
Not computer related. But I found you a free yoga class (if you can get there):
Free yoga (all levels welcome) at Flywheel on Sundays 5-6:30. Bring a medium blanket with you. For more info or to carpool, call Lizzy 549-4205.
I'm tempted to go myself, but I don't think I can do it this weekend as I'm going to be driving all over the northeast states dropping children off at airports.
Thanks Ty! And I found ASL discussion sessions for you. Do you know about the meetings at Haymarket once a month on ...maybe Wed. nights of the first week of the month? Let me know if you need more specific info! Good luck with the driving. D
Since I wasn't planning on sleeping anyway I thought I would make good use out of my time- This is what the flyer says: ASL informal social groups open to all deaf and hearing signers. No need to sign up, no dues, no attendance. Just people getting together and signing. Come join us!
UMass ASL Lunch- Tues 12-1 Blue Wall in the campus center Northampton ASL meetup- Third wed. of each month. 7pm-? Usually at the haymarket. http://herkamire.com/jason/northampton_asl for current location FMI- Lorraine James 577 2387 days ljames@library.umass.edu http://herkamire.com/jason/asl
