The plot thickens! *Stop Press*

This has just hit Twitter in the last couple of minutes while me and my fellow Wales [rugby] fans are expressing ourselves and our views of England/BBC coverage/Twickenham rather vicariously and profusely. [Standard match day ( Read more... )

Maybe the coffee mug was a clue...or that is just wishful thinking.

Oooh! The mug! Hadn't even thought of that. Great thinking.

Since we surely knew if there was more Torchwood it could only be for the Doctor Who Special, now could it?

Heh. I only thought it because picking up the mug when he did so random and like he wanted us to see what was on the mug.

And a concert John was supposed to do in April in Calfornia is no longer. Hmm that oes beg lots to think on.

I gotta get off my duff and catch up on Arrow to see the change itch JB hair.

Exactly, the cancelled concert. One really wonders what they all have suddenly so important to do otherwise! They say that Arrow filming should be ended by that time.

The picture is from the episode which airs next week. You can see it here, I don't think there are any spoilers in it - other than him looking especially great:

So what do you say? Wishful thinking with the hair on my part?

Okay, I play. I am not usually one posting rumors or conspiracy theories, but one really gotta wonder how all those things are connected. And I just wrote a private message with almost the exact words to jedi-harkness (I take it it was you who posted the link also in the Facebook group?)

Add to that the fact that in the picture from the next Arrow episode John's hair looks much different - we thought because it might be from a scene set in the past, but the way it hangs into his face - it almost looks like Captain Jack hair. No?

So what have they all suddenly to do in April?

The suspense is killing me.

Now you have got me thinking! I love a bit of mystery!

So what have we got? Gareth cancels all future BG gigs and appearances until further notice, now his appearance at Wales Comic Con [in April].

Jb almost certainly stopped filming Arrow by April, but has cancelled a concert during that month...

GDL obviously relaxed, looking good in fine humour and being very tongue in cheek :)

The mug [brilliant touch Gareth BTW].

And now JB's hair is flopping over in a very telling way...

Oh if only, if only....!!

(I think this was meant as a comment to my message but you hit "comment" instead of "reply", so you just replied to your own original post - happens to me all the time when I want to just comment but hit "reply" instead to an unsuspecting fan - it's complicated ( ... )

LOL thanks!

It was meant to be a 'reply' to all the posts as a form of resume - that's why I did a general comment post. Not sure if all would see, but thanks very much for pointing that out :)

Haircuts and so on, if they were needed for April it's all a bit early, but it is fun to speculate!!

I hope you don't mind but I put a tracker on this post so I would get notified by any new comments. It's easier than to go back all the time and look for new replies. If other's didn't do that, then they will not get your general reply.

I admit that is the only flaw in my theory - that it would be a bit early indeed to already grow the hair. Then again, he takes two weeks to get at least a bit of stubble, so maybe his hair grows slowly as well LOL

I defintely have fun! Only problem is, I cannot focus on anything else at the moment... LOL I am totally obsessed.

Hope others will join in!

Okay I've had time to process this, and I'll just say that I hope to god Moffat is tapping them for the Anniversary Special. Ideally I'd love for the Doc to fix things, but I'm betting on something more timey-wimey. At any rate, I hope we're all right about this, as any sort of Janto reunion would be the fans' dream come true, and Moffat would be sure to come up with an epic story for them.

LOL, oh yes please!!

Over on the FB site 'Torchwood 4 Fans' [a misnomer if ever I've seen one!] I posted this:

This is exactly what is happening - the 50th Anniversary episode is going to be Operation Ianto where several Doctors, Captain Jack and a cast of thousands bring Ianto back, who then goes off with the Doctor and Clara for some well deserved adventures of his own, taking coffee to the far flung corners of the Galaxy. Hooray!

Fairly straightforward wouldn't you say, doesn't need any of those intriguing twists and turns that they have to write for Sherlock :D

Sadly, not so well received by the moderator on that site. Can't see a bit of fun for what it is :(

Huh, doesn't sound like they have much of a sense of humor. Well, I think it's funny. ;)

I understand now that the mods of the site really didn't have anything against your post, and that they only stopped the thread because other folks were getting way too serious about the speculation. I was glad to hear that because they always seemed cool to me (I follow their Twitter).

No, I realised that. It's a shame that there are some who do take everything so seriously, but I understand why this was done there.

Now we just have to wait and see if ANY of the speculation is right - chances are none at all!!
