Yeah but now I'm getting messages from people saying "Gosh, I'd really love this for my hallowe'en party next weekend... How bout I give you $75 right now and you stop the auction and send it to me now?" I haven't responded, but I feel like answering one "You can use Buy It Now and I'll ship it out the next day and you'll have it in time, KTHXBYE" and posting the response on my auction for all to see. I'm sort of afraid I'll make even less than I would have made had she paid last time I listed it. Ebay should not be frustrating.

If you're very witty not only will you shoo away the persons you don't want to engage in a sale with but with any luck you may get linked to in praise of your snark which might attract a real buyer.
