That's a good idea! It is pretty central. I imagine it doesn't get a lot of sunday daytime business, or is it always hopping? Maybe they'd let me do it downstairs so that entrance can be controlled and only people who really bring clothes can swap.

hey hon, quick question who is the photographer or who is the photograph of for your 'contessa' icon? My mate wants to use it for a show poster hence why i'm asking! xx

That is the Countess de Castiglione and the photograph was taken by Pierre-Louis Pierson with whom she collaborated for many many years. I believe there may be two similar photos? But the one I used is the most famous. Watts also painted a really lovely portrait of her. If you want to know more about her [and I think she was fascinating and totally insane], there's a biography of her called "La Divine Comtesse"
