Hello! You don't know me, but I liked your post at hp100, and loved your icon, so wandered over for a look. I like this piece very much - you have caught the mood perfectly for that wild time when Remus really doesn't know whether he's coming or going and what the truth is anymore. And the last line is terrific. Is there any way you could work this piece into part of a longer story?

Hello back! Thank you so much for visiting and commenting on the story! And sure, you can friend me, although I'm not sure when there will be more fic -- I'm very new to this whole fanfic writing thing! But I'm working on it.

I am trying to make this part of a longer fic -- and I'm working on a couple of other ideas as well -- and, well, we'll see where they go. Wish me luck!

Hi! I also wandered in from hp100. You write beautifully; both here and in the hp100 drabble you've used the short form to tell a clear and moving story. I love your vivid images of Lily and James and Peter; the contrast between those very visual images and Sirius, whom you describe more conceptually, is absolutely perfect for the POV you're using. Great marriage between form and content, I love it!

Hi, you *are* checking your lj. I came over here to maybe email you about Andromeda vs. Bellatrix because you wrote such a nice comment on my drabble, then I read your ficlet. Lovely, but so sad....:-( Poor Remus. I never really thought about the years in-between until I started reading RL/SB fics.

Um, anyway, do you ever beta-read people's fics? As in, if I ever got that Andromeda/Ted fic written, you could take a look at it? It's still really just in my head for now.

I came here from remusxsirius. Your introduction in the community is the funniest one I've seen in a while. GWB/DC...aha, got to love it. Anyway, I love Post-Halloween!Remus. You've done a lovely job with him, almost trying to deal with his grief but seeing the faces of his friends in everyone around him. And the fact that he doesn't mistaken Sirius for anyone else because there can be no other like Sirius. He is unique in every possible way, Remus would know this. Have you written anymore fanfiction? Mind if I friend you? xD

Thank you so much for the comment! I seriously have no idea where that Bush/Cheney thing came from. I guess weird things happen when I start writing before I’ve had my first cup of coffee.

I’m so glad you enjoyed this ficlet. As for other fanfic - I wish. I have drabbles, though! I write a lot of drabbles. I think this ficlet is the longest thing I’ve written, in fact. Well, the longest completed fic, anyway -- I am working on a couple of longer things (at least one of which is R/S), which will, someday, be posted! *hopes* So yeah, go ahead and friend! And thanks again.

I should at least post some of the drabbles here…my poor journal looks so empty and forlorn…
